Managing the Events & Training Calendar

How to access, add, edit, and manage events on the defamilysupporthub.org calendar.

Overview

The Delaware Family Support Hub's public-facing events and training calendar is managed through HubSpot HubDB, a structured database built into HubSpot. Any changes made in HubDB are reflected on the calendar at defamilysupporthub.org once the table is published.

Accessing the Events Table

  1. Log in to HubSpot and go to Content in the top navigation.
  2. Select HubDB from the dropdown menu.
  3. Find and click the table named Events.

Adding a New Event

  1. In the Events table, click Add row at the bottom of the table.
  2. Fill in all required fields: Event Title, Date, Time, Location, and Event Type. See the Event Fields Reference article for a full description of each field.
  3. Add optional fields as applicable: Zoom link, Description, and any resource settings.
  4. When all fields are complete, click Publish (upper right) to push the changes live to the website.

Editing an Existing Event

  1. Find the event row in the Events table.
  2. Click any cell to edit it inline.
  3. Make your changes and click Publish to update the live site.

Important Notes

  • Changes do not appear on the website until the table is published. Always publish after making edits.
  • The calendar is public-facing. Review all content for accuracy before publishing.
  • Do not delete event rows for past events. Past events are part of the program record and may have linked resources.
