Event Fields Reference
Complete reference for every field in the Events HubDB table and what it controls.
Overview
The Events HubDB table contains a specific set of fields that control how each event appears on the defamilysupporthub.org calendar and event detail pages.
Field Definitions
Event Title
Type: Text (required). The name of the event as it will appear on the public calendar and event detail page. Keep titles clear and concise.
Date
Type: Date (required). The date the event takes place. Used to sort events chronologically on the calendar.
Time
Type: Text. The start time and, if applicable, end time of the event (e.g., "10:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET").
Location
Type: Text or URL. Physical address for in-person events, or a location name. For virtual events, you may leave this blank or enter "Virtual." Use the Zoom/Meeting Link field for the join link.
Event Type
Type: Select. Categorizes the event for filtering on the calendar. Options include Training, Meeting, Webinar, Conference, and others as configured.
Zoom / Meeting Link
Type: URL. The full URL for joining a virtual or hybrid event. Displayed as a join button or link on the event detail page.
Description
Type: Rich text. A summary or full description of the event. This content appears on the event's detail page.
Show Resources
Type: Boolean (true/false). When set to true, a resources section is displayed on the event detail page. Set this to true only after resources have been added to the Resources table for this event.
Resource Event ID
Type: Number. The row ID of the event record, used to link rows in the Resources table back to this event. Copy this value from the leftmost column of the Events table when adding resources.
