Creating Your Personal View

Customize your default contact list view with the columns and filters you use most.

What Is a Saved View?

A saved view is a customized version of the contacts list that remembers your filters, column selections, and sort order. Instead of reapplying the same filters every time you open HubSpot, you save the configuration once and return to it with a single click.

How to Create a Saved View

  1. Go to Contacts > Contacts.
  2. Apply the filters you want -- for example, filter by Program Role = FSS and LIA Zone = a specific zone.
  3. Adjust the visible columns by clicking Edit columns in the upper right. Add or remove columns to match what you want to see.
  4. Click the Save view button and choose Save as new view.
  5. Give the view a clear, descriptive name.

Setting a View as Your Default

Once you have created a view, you can set it as your default so it loads automatically every time you open the Contacts screen. Click the three-dot menu next to the view name in the left sidebar and select Set as default view.

Sharing a View With the Team

Views can be kept private or shared with everyone in the portal. When saving a new view, you will be prompted to choose between a personal view and a team view. Choose team view if this is a configuration other staff would benefit from.

Recommended Views to Set Up

  • Active FSS by Zone -- Filter: Program Role = FSS, Status = Active. Sort by LIA Zone.
  • All Staff by LIA -- No role filter, sort by Associated Company then by name.
