Reviewing Active Contracts: Filters & Views
How to filter the deals view to see active contracts by LIA agency, stage, or upcoming close date.
Overview
HubSpot's Deals module becomes most useful when you apply filters and save views tailored to your workflow. Rather than scrolling through all deals each time, saved views let you jump directly to the records most relevant to your role.
Setting Up a Filtered List View
- Go to CRM > Deals in the top navigation.
- Click the List view icon in the upper right.
- Click Add filter and set: Pipeline = Contract Lifecycle Management, Deal Stage = Executed.
- Sort by Close Date (ascending) to surface contracts with the nearest end dates first.
- Click Save view, name it "Active Contracts," and set visibility to yourself or your team.
Board View for Pipeline Overview
Switch to board view to see contracts grouped by stage across the full Contract Lifecycle Management pipeline. This is useful for weekly pipeline reviews and quickly spotting deals that have stalled in a stage.
Recommended Saved Views
- Active Contracts: Pipeline = Contract Lifecycle, Stage = Executed, sorted by Close Date.
- Renewals Due Soon: Pipeline = Contract Lifecycle, Stage = Renewal Due, sorted by Close Date.
- Funding Pipeline: Pipeline = Funding Sources, all active stages, sorted by Close Date.
